Where do I start?? When my husband told me we were relocating again my stomach sunk.

This is such a horrific experience because his company has used Cartus for some time - and if I can convince them to change, I will!! We got the same rep for the third time and I seriously feel like just a number. Our rep picked two agents - one to do the BMA for the buyout, the other to help list our home. The one we didn't chose now does the buyout cost, which came in around $60,000 from our reduced listing price (since the market stinks).

When an appeal is done it goes back to the same real estate agent....hmmm, isn't that like asking them to admit to their mistake? *** idea Cartus! The agent used three short sales in our neighborhood to do the market value, when we were told by other agents (not involved in this process) that you are NOT supposed to do this, or at least compensate for it. What's worse, this same Cartus rep was assigned to us for our last move, and when I reported that the BMA agent told her friend (in earshot of me!) to wait for Cartus to assume the house once it doesn't sell so the listing would go down and be in their price range, she shrugged it off.

Would she have let this go if this was HER house? I was so mad that I brought this to someone in executive management at my husband's employer. Now, a few years later and we're going through this process AGAIN. We did have our mortgage through PHH (in conjunction with Cartus) and had them for years with no issues....but this time the mortgage person never calls back and rarely emails.

We got much better response and attention from QuickenLoans. Think we know who's getting our money this time. :) Anyway, I am on the same roller coaster for all the aspects of moving; the lack of interest in helping me with employment to replace the job I'm going to lose because of this move, and the lack of response or at least giving a *** about the people that Cartus has assigned to you (service rep, mortgage rep, moving company and estimator) who are treating you like #%@^.

I could go on and on about my disappointment in Cartus, but I won't continue to bellyache to everyone. I know that my husband's company is wasting a huge amount of money with this arrangement and just know that I will make it my mission to help correct this (remove them) so that others don't go through this mess.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
